Ok, well Ive just gotten my first Pullip. Shes a Pullip Celsiy who Ive renamed Madison  Smiley
Im slowly working on making my own dolls house. Its just a bookcase but it works fine (plus, unless you uctually walk into my bedroom and right up to it, you have no idea its a dolls house  Wink  Cheesy )

This is the bed I made. Its the thickest balsa wood I could buy (last year, so Im not cheating in my challenge) and I cut the strips and glued them with balsa cement. Its about 35x24cm so its Queen size  Cheesy

The mattress is just polystyrine hot glued to the right size (pva took too long lol) and a fat quarter wrapped over the top and hot glued

It comes complete with hemmed sheets and pilliows with pillow cases

I got so fussy with the pillow cases they even have that wee fold over pieve on the inside that stops your pillow falling out  Smiley

Next step is making a quilt  Cheesy oh, and finishing the rest of the furnishing for the dolls house

I love the detail!!  I was over at the destash board and thought a pullip was a kind of dog.  Embarrassed

I collect baby dolls and this is tempting me to try the same thing!!

Can't wait to see the other furniture!!

The details really make it special. Keep posting your progress.

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

I love the bed you made! I'm tossing up between a pullip or a blythe or even a blythe clone at the moment. But the shipping and conversion rate (I'm in NZ as well!) means I want to make sure I choose the perfect one hehe!

Go both! lol. Im really glad I got Madison, I saved for a fairly long time and got her from pullipstyle.com and so she came well packed and made it here safely. They are a heap of fun, just prepare for some strange looks when people bust you playing with her  Cheesy

Yeah, I'm already getting it from the boyfriend who thinks it's ridiculous to pay that much money on a doll. I gently reminded him how much he spends on WoW, which did the trick! He's pro, ised to put some money towards one as a Christmas presant, now I just have to decide which one. And start making furniture!

Yea, it was the initial price of Madison which is why Im making so much stuff for her. Balsa come in many different thicknesses and it fairly easy to assemble. Heaps of fun
