Thank you! She loved it! Out of probably 30 + gifts she received 3 handmade packages, so I was glad I went this route! Also, she had brought her husband's baby blanket for me to repair!

Love this! The whole quilt is beautifully done, but I really like the blue binding. Not a clue why I like it, but I do.

ha ha I also thought I was looking at the right side at first---but with this quilt, there are TWO right sides!

I very scientifically picked colors for this one...fabrics in stash that matched the sock monkey fabric were chosen by right of already belonging to me! I wanted light blue for the backing, but Ikea sheets apparently don't come in that color.

ha ha sometimes the best color combos come from what we have in our stash and what we have to make do...I am finding that since I have been working out of my stash, I have become much more creative!

Nice how it worked out and that your friend loved your special gift!

Thanks! I still have a some of the fabric left and a large block I made that I didn't use, I am definitely planning on using it for a have-on-hand baby shower quilt!
