CAUTION!! Crazy cat lady approaching!!

« on: January 07, 2011 01:42:09 PM »

I made this for my housemate's birthday back in Sept, but only just got round to posting!

It's a record bowl filled with hand made goodies and some shop bought smellies, and wrapped up in cellophane, along with a bag of more goodies!

I made a heart shaped flannel with tag, a body puff, 3 crocheted make up remover pads, 3 tawashis, and 4 flower face scrubbies. The flannel has a bumpy texture, for top scrubbing action!

Close up of make up remover pads - they have an opening for your fingers to make them easier to use.

I bought her a pair of pj's, and bought another pair to make into a sleep mask, scrunchie, headband, a 'turbie', and a bag to keep them all in.

Also made a few button hair grips using the buttons from the pj's.

First record bowl!! Bit wonky, but not bad for a first attempt.

Everything altogether, before it's wrapped up.

Sorry about the length of the post, but slightly chuffed!

What a great present! I love all the handmade scrubbies and make-up remover! The ones where you can slip your fingers inside are so clever, not sure if I've seen anything like that before! Did she just love it? Grin

Wow, this is great, I'd love it if someone put together something like this for me! I'm a sucker for bath products anyways but I love the handmade components, especially the handmade things that match the pjs!
