This is basically the easiest skirt ever. This is the fourth one I've made, and thought its about time I share it for others to enjoy.
To make it you just need 2 measurements: your hip measurment and the length you want plus a few inches for the elastic waist and the hem.
Cut 2 rectangles that are (hip measurement) X (Length + allowances).
Sew the sides of the skirt together. (Note: it will look huge, don't worry.)
Press about 1/2" over on the top, then fold again and press the width of your elastic plus 1/4"-1/2".
Sew waistband, leaving an opening for elastic. Insert elastic. Sew the rest of the waistband shut.
Hem bottom.

Mine took almost 2 yards of fabric, but it varies with the length/width needed. I used 2" wide elastic, but really anything from 1"-2" has worked fine for these in the past.

I need some skirts like that for when the weather get's a bit nicer I love wearing my uggs with skirts but it's way to cold right now!
