I'm in love with all of them but the first one, Puddle Honey, is my favourite! Your yarns are delish! Cheesy I have some yarn but it's for a swap so I can't post it Tongue

Silly question... can you do those lovely coily bits on a drop spindle?

Lovely yarns. They're all so beautiful, I don't think I can pick a favorite.  Smiley

I have a few yarns to share this week, mostly spun over the holidays, but didn't have time to post until now.

I bought both of these fibers during my first trip to Rhinebeck (about 3 years ago!).

Illusive - single ply wool/silk.

Enclosure - merino

These ones are all from hand-dyed fibers.

Spearmint - merino / bfl

merino/silk

Harvest - merino

I finally get to contribute on a Fiber Friday! Gah I'm so excited. I just started spinning a few months ago, these were all done on my drop spindle however my wheel has been ordered and will be here in about a week! Yay!  Onto pics..

72yds/wool

66yds/wool

not quite finished here, but I just hung it up to dry out...

115yds/wool

All were hand dyed by myself...I think I did all of these using a crock pot.  I love the purple but am so-so about the green and yellow.

You could, not as easily but it's possible. You'd have to build up spin then park it to work the coils, make sense?

i'm looking forward to being able to join in on fibre friday - i'm practicing with a wheel and a spindle atm and finding it wonderfully therapeutic and satisfying ^_^

have something drying right now, my first proper amount, so i'll measure it and post a pic for next week probably.
is it proper to mention how many yds/wpi?
i've seen others do this but not everyone Smiley

ps - angry hippie, i love your colour combinations and the big fluffy bits!

You guys are all so inspiring. I have so much to learn from you all. Angry Hippie, as always I want those all printed out poster size!

Well guess what I got for Christmas: a spinning wheel! I've spun up a bunch, mostly just black and white stuff from Sheep Shed, but I didn't get it all set yet or photoed so maybe next week I can contribute?! YAY!
