Welcome to the One Tiny WWP Imbolc Thing Swap Round 25!

The idea of this swap is to create one tiny thing for your partner to celebrate Imbolc, Brigid's Day, Candlemas, or just the plain old coming of spring and light from the darkness of winter! This Greater Sabbat falls on Feb. 2nd. It falls between the winter solstice and the spring equinox and the holiday is an observation of new beginnings, returning of daylight, purification, new milk, chastity and fire.

Ideas may include (but not limited to) decorated candle holders, altar decorations like a Brigid's cross or bride doll, maybe even Imbolc-themed sweets! Fire and new beginning themes are very welcome in this swap!

Information about Imbolc may be found here: http://paganwiccan.about.com/od/imbolcfebruary2/a/AllAbout_Imbolc.htm

i love the idea of this swap, but have a question, some of the OTT swaps are small but pretty detailed and high quality, ie make it small but make it really good, have we a size/time/points guideline for the ott?

Oooh, good question! Ideally, everything made will be of high quality, but I didn't think along those terms actually.

Now that I am, it must be a smallish item, a 1 pointer. Ideally, you should perhaps dedicate at least 1/2 to 1 hour to create.

Things I would count (but not limited to this list): a painted candle holder, a handmixed incense blend, a sewn tiny bag with embellishments, decorated bookmark, pagan atc's for altar decorations (maybe make 2), a necklace or earrings, a headwreath of flowers, etc.

I hope that makes things a bit clearer.

Anyone interested in a card swap for this round?  Maybe without an inclusion this time, help lower postage costs?
