Hi Everyone!

What do you guys do with ripe / over-ripe bananas besides throwing it away?  Sometimes I will make banana cake / banana bread with it. But kueh kodok (banana fritters) is one of the favourite snack in my home.  Here's my recipe:

6 nos bananas (mashed)
3 tbsp sugar (less if your bananas are really sweet)
pinch of salt
250g - 300g plain flour
oil for frying

1. Mix all the ingredients together.
2. Use an ice-cream scoop or just a spoon, drop the batter into the hot oil. Deep fry it till golden brown.
3. You can eat it plain or sprinkle icing sugar on top of it.

The most precious thing one can make is a friend.

What a yummy idea, thanks for sharing!

In our house, our favourite thing to do it cut them into slices and bake them.  You just wrap them up in tinfoil and add some honey!  You can also put in slices of baby carrots, which are surprisingly delicious.

These look delicious. It makes me want to buy bananas just to let them go bad!

Mmmm! I just bought a whole bunch of bananas. I've started freezing them before they go bad because I never eat them quick enough.
