what in the world happened?!?!  I asked mod if she was going to post pictures or if something happened and I needed to and she said he had posted some.  I thought it was really weird that NO ONE was getting their needlebooks because this wasn't showing up whenever I clicked "replies to your posts".  so that's why I asked her.  I've been missing TONS of new books because this was never being brought to my attention!!!  I don't get it!!!    now I have to go catch up...

there are some really awesome needlebooks in here!!!  I love that puppy one.  such a cute idea.

if anyone has ever heard of the Nintendo DS game Scribblenauts, the way the penguin is made may look familiar.  I used the penguin sprite (and glacier) from that game!  lol.  once I realized how big my pattern was going to make the book, I decided I wanted to make it like a little emergency sewing kit.  then I found the penguin buttons.  lol.  they had to go in too.  I was going to use metallic silver floss for the pattern at the bottom of the spine, but stupid me never bought any.  how does that happen when silver is one of my favorite colors??  I was then just going to use white like the lettering, but then I found that I had a pretty iridescent floss and it kinda looked like ice, so I used it.    and I'm so glad you like it!

first EVER pincushion ring from me and I love it.  it's, of course, made from a plastic bottle cap.  it's from the original water bottles that my water came in.  now the caps are smaller, so I'll be able to make smaller pincushions.

Thank you so much, bubbleandme! I've been down since Sunday with the worst flu I've ever experienced and today is the first day I can actually concentrate on anything. I love everything you sent me! The card is on my refrigerator, and I've already started transferring my needles to my new needlebook!
