I am lovin all the owlyness!  That felted needle book owl is amazing Grin

Tickled everyone likes my wee monster needle book.  I would be delighted if more monster needle books were born!  I have since made myself one, which came out very different from the one I made Teachart.  When I post next I will post a picture of mine.

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

Oh sweetness!  My little needlebook arrived today!  Can I just tell you for a moment that this week has been TERRIBLE!!!  I won't go into it but it's been astounding in it's awfulness - so how great to go to the mailbox today and find this sweet little rainbow needlebook!!

Oh Thanks Avesthel!  I love it.  It's so sweet.  I love rainbows and I am loving brown and blue together - but that little dot of orange on the fabric makes it perfect.  Thanks a bunch!  I hope you get yours today too and love it!  Smiley

What cute needlebooks!  The felted owl looks so well made, and the rainbow is perfect to brighten any day. I really like the background fabric too!

This gallery is just filling up with great little books!   Smiley

I'm so glad you like your needlebook, CraftyDiem!  Smiley

I received today from CraftyDiem!   Smiley   It is SO cute!  The pattern is from my wists.  I adore chickens and they remind me of my two little hens.  Cheesy  The colors are perfect; I love it!   Grin   CraftyDiem says she is new to embroidery, but I wouldn't have guessed that.  Her stitches are so nice and lovely.  Smiley

I included a closeup of the stitches.

And then the inside:
The right side is a little pocket!   Smiley

Which were hiding these adorable little pins!

Thank you very much CraftyDiem, It's perfect and I love everything.   Cheesy

I just noticed that we have a gallery, and it's filling up quickly with fantastic little needlebooks!  I love them all, but I just adore that last one.  I'm not at all sure why, but that one made me think of my great grandmother.

Oh thanks so much!  Avesthel took MUCH better pictures than I could get.

Gamemom - I used vintage fabrics that I've collected - mostly from people who have their grandmothers' stash or from my husband's grandmother!  Smiley

Those little pins were copied from someone who made really cool ones on Etsy.  I had to test a few people to make sure they knew they were birds before I would include them - I've NEVER used model clay for anything before!  That's what I love about swaps - you are inspired to stretch your skills and try something you've never done before.  Smiley

I love this gallery.  Love, love, love.  Smiley
