I am lovin all the owlyness!  That felted needle book owl is amazing Grin

Tickled everyone likes my wee monster needle book.  I would be delighted if more monster needle books were born!  I have since made myself one, which came out very different from the one I made Teachart.  When I post next I will post a picture of mine.

Oh sweetness!  My little needlebook arrived today!  Can I just tell you for a moment that this week has been TERRIBLE!!!  I won't go into it but it's been astounding in it's awfulness - so how great to go to the mailbox today and find this sweet little rainbow needlebook!!

Oh Thanks Avesthel!  I love it.  It's so sweet.  I love rainbows and I am loving brown and blue together - but that little dot of orange on the fabric makes it perfect.  Thanks a bunch!  I hope you get yours today too and love it!  Smiley

What cute needlebooks!  The felted owl looks so well made, and the rainbow is perfect to brighten any day. I really like the background fabric too!

I received today from CraftyDiem!   Smiley   It is SO cute!  The pattern is from my wists.  I adore chickens and they remind me of my two little hens.  Cheesy  The colors are perfect; I love it!   Grin   CraftyDiem says she is new to embroidery, but I wouldn't have guessed that.  Her stitches are so nice and lovely.  Smiley  

I included a closeup of the stitches.  

And then the inside:
The right side is a little pocket!   Smiley

Which were hiding these adorable little pins!

I just noticed that we have a gallery, and it's filling up quickly with fantastic little needlebooks!  I love them all, but I just adore that last one.  I'm not at all sure why, but that one made me think of my great grandmother.

Gamemom - I used vintage fabrics that I've collected - mostly from people who have their grandmothers' stash or from my husband's grandmother!  Smiley 

Those little pins were copied from someone who made really cool ones on Etsy.  I had to test a few people to make sure they knew they were birds before I would include them - I've NEVER used model clay for anything before!  That's what I love about swaps - you are inspired to stretch your skills and try something you've never done before.  Smiley

I love this gallery.  Love, love, love.  Smiley
