This sounds like sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun!!!!!!!! I may just have to convince onegroovyday to hop on a plane with me and fly cross country!  South Florida to Portland would be a long drive.....on second thought we could pick up a bunch of hitchhiking craftsters along the way!  Wink

I've got an aerobed with your guys' names on it! Grin

And since you're coming all this way you might as well come back to Seattle with dharma and I! I've got an aerobed too!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I was just talking to my fella the other day about going to Portland again this summer Smiley  We road tripped to Portland and down the Oregon coast last August (coming from Northern Alberta) and one of the highlights was hanging out with Mare and kittykill!  I love roadtrips and I LOVE Portland so I'm in if I'm not somewhere else Grin

That would be awesome crafty karma if everyone's travel dates matched up.

I suppose that my arm could be twisted to make multiple trips, though...

It's been ages since I've been to a craftster meetup!  Depending on the timing I'd love to hang out!  I'd offer up a spare bed, but we kind of got rid of it in a nursery conversion...  and I donno how many people want to vacation at a home with a new baby.  Or how much of a hostess I'd be able to be.
By July, I'll be back to work, and my work schedule's weird.  But if you have any morning hangouts, I could probably definitely make it, no matter if I work that day or not.

2915 NE Martin Luther King Blvd
Portland, OR 97212
Neighborhood: Northeast Portland

(503) 294-0769

If anyone does go to Portland..at all I think..they should go here.  It is a recycling depot like none I have seen.  They have 2 huge tubs marked "OTHER PEOPLES PICTURES".....and 1960 Fabric when I was there.  A HUGE wall of shelves of magazines.  I got 3 bags of jewlery bits and pieces for around 4 bucks each
