Not sure if this counts as a finish as it is not quilted yet, but wanted to post this.  It is the nursery rhyme quilt.  My dd colored the blocks years ago and I finally got around to finishing the top.  I am hoping to get it quilted soon.

Going in circles.... literally.  I'm most of the way through quilting my raw edge circle quilt using my embroidery machine.  Let's just say I've learned more than a few things about my machine, my skills and my patience.  Let's just say I had to thank DH repeatedly for encouraging me to buy the BIG box of needles when I got my machine!  And to top it all off I think that I am experiencing the full effect of a bad spool of thread.  It is the same brand of quilting cotton I use for everything except that it is a variegated color and it breaks ALL the time.  Worse part is it is a GIANT spool.  ARGHHHH

I buy a better grade of muslin for most of my white.  I use kona when I am worried about it.  We buy muslin by the bolt around here and use it up.  Can't believe how much we go through.

I got the top for my Quilts for Kids Pretty Princess Quilt done, and I'm about 1/5 of the way through quilting it.  As soon as I finish my tea I'm going to go do some more quilting on it.  That will make 2 items off my list this month!

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

Satin backing?  I want to see how you do that.  I'd have it sliding all over the place and be lucky to get any attached to the quilt.

I think for this month's challenge we're going to just count completely finished quilts. If you get it quilted and bound by the end of the month we'll add you to the list!

I'm going to join in on the fun in hopes of getting things done.  lol.  Here's my partial list for now:

1) baby quilt for kiernan along with all the bibs and burpcloths i promised months ago before he was born
2) Quilt for a top secret person whom i cannot elaborate on anymore
3) baby quilt for my sister's baby - need to find out if she's having a boy or girl first
4) pacman quilt for the mister
5) lap quilt for my aunt donna - telephone themed?
6) Table runner for anniversary dinner

I'll add more as i finish some off.  I'm trying not to commit to too much because its hard to have time for crafting when you work two jobs and go to school full time and am trying to plan a wedding....i wish days were longer.  then i could get my crafting in.

Crossed one off my list!  =)  I decided that we would eat dinner at a small two person table instead of the dinner table so i made a small piece to use.  After dinner, its going on my wall as a mini art quilt.

I learned that i suck at binding and need way more practice.
