Thanks Malgudi - it was just a wavy stitch on my machine, I thought it sort of mimicked free motion

J-Kieviet - 4 quilts in one month!  Whoa!

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

I have so many nice stitches on my embroidery machine...it really did not occur to me to use them for my quilting...I think I will spend some time experimenting now!  Thanks!

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

Oh mine's a cheap(ish) brother with like 30 stitches.  But it has a few pretty decorative stitches  I want to eventually upgrade so I can get a short arm quilting frame and carriage

I've been playing with using my embroidery machine to quilt.  Assuming I get some decent pictures, I'll have a project to share tomorrow.

Here's quilt number 2!!
I've made this for my niece's 1st birthday (tomorrow) Made from a Tilda charm pack, scraps from my stash, and flannel on the back! Pretty pleased how it came out for my second quilt, only problem was when the cat found it with his muddy paws  Angry I freaked right out! And it was on the clothes horse! No fear though guys, some gentle sponging got the paw prints out!!  Grin

Finished piece

Also posted in finished projects so sorry for anyone seeing it twice!!

Aw, it's so cute Little_G! I love the fabrics, very sweet! I have nephews only so I don't get to make pink quilts, sad.

so pretty Little_g!  That's why I love charm packs, they give you a pretty variety without hunting down fabrics or fussy cutting

Love the baby quilt...

I have two done and posted.  Only one is from my list... the Quilt for Sassy.

The second one is a practice/learning quilt!  Both were fun.
