I finished all thirty heart blocks today, now just to iron and I can start putting everything together.  I will post pics of the blocks when they are ironed, there are  versions of the same block in total

Looking for 100% Cotton scraps.  Miss G wants to make a scrap quilt for as little $ as possible, so if you have something that she could use, please pm me.

Do you have any special trick for the target quilting?  I have a finished raw-edge circle quilt that is demanding concentric circles.  I'm just not sure if I can do it as neatly as you have done on your string blocks or that I can do it consistently wonky.

No tricks, just mark them all out and sew, some are wonkier than others, I notice them but doubt anyone else would be looking that closely Wink

New to Craftster and quilting, just finished my first ever quilt and it turned out pretty well so I'm gonna make it number 1 on my list!
1) patchwork quilt for my Dad's birthday (done!)
2) Baby quilt for my niece's birthday
3) Baby boy's quilt
4) Baby girl's quilt
5) anniversary quilt for my bro and SIL
6) birthday quilt for dad's partner
7) wall hanging
Cool hobby quilt for partner
9) Christmas quilt for grandma
10) the same for Grandad
11) Quilt for mum, summer theme

This may change as time goes on but it's something to work towards!
I'll be following the blog, and Ill post pics of my completed quilts (if I can figure out how!) Smiley

Welcome to Craftster Little_G!  Can't wait to see what you're crafting!

Lots of great quilts already!  I love the ragged circle quilt!  I'll have to add that to my list once I get a few more done.  All the quilts are great!

Progress.  I have my broccokitty ironed, sandwiched and basted!  I went to a quilt club on free motion today and got a lot of good advice for how to do the quilting so I am ready to go for it tomorrow... assuming, of course that I can settle on thread colors.   Undecided

Hi all, thanks for the warm welcome and the tips on pics!  Smiley

Here is my first quilt (ever!) and no.1 of intended 11! Made this for my Daddy-o's Birthday, all from scraps given to me by my mother in law!

Now to get on with the next quilt (if only I didn't have to work! Tongue )

Hope you like it!
