Ok, after reading the last 10 pages of posts, I'll just have to join in I guess.   Wink

In a similar effort to hold myself accountable to the sheer number of quilts I have to make for friends and families who all seem to be eloping & getting pregnant in the last year, I started a blog this past fall called The Quilt List.  My goal is to get through all of them this year, though I have a feeling something might get pushed back.  And that something might sadly end up being my own new bed quilt and the Vintage 1940's Quilt.

1. Costume Shop Quilt

2. QFK Princess Quilt

3-5 QFK Purple Paisley NICU Quilt

6. Mug Rugs for Craftster Swap
For MareMare:

For MrsKAT

7. Brother & SIL New Baby Quilt - Mia's Strawberry Shortcake Quilt

8. SIL Jennifer's Wedding Quilt
Scrappy Trails pattern from Etsy seller CarleneWestberg made with Grand Finale by Sandy Gervais.

9. David & Amanda's Baby Quilt - This was more of a blanket than a quilt, but I'm counting it anyways.  I bagged out a cute fabric and some polar fleece, then top stitched the edges, quilted the two layers together and added it to the pile of goodies created by the students in my costume shop for our friends new baby. They got a bunch of fun onesies, bibs of vintage fabrics, stuffed animals, and the blanket.

10. Cousin Nicole's Baby Girl Quilt - Oh Fransson's Mix Tape Quilt.

11. Cousin Mae's Wedding Quilt - Eloped, and so is on hold for now.  Shades of sapphire & emerald, probably made from this jelly roll: Ocen Mist Island Batiks.  Pattern from a magazine, I'll try to scan soon.

12. Cousin Maggie's Wedding Quilt - twin sister of Cousin Mae, also eloped.  No idea what her quilt will be yet.  Maybe a Raw Edge Circle quilt out of either Sugar Plum or Lemongrass Layer Cakes.  Or if I'm really feeling adventurous, Central Park by Kate Spain.

13. Mom & Dad's Memory Quilt - This one is on hold while I have printer issues.  (Printing sepia toned family photographs onto fabric, then turning those into blocks and making a giant quilt.

14. My New Bed Quilt - a stunning Batik pattern I found in a magazine.  I'll try to scan the pattern photo to show you all.  I fell so in love with it I'm going to make it in the exact same color scheme and everything.

15. Complete a Vintage 1940's Quilt Top - this is a huge 4 Patch quilt top that was donated inside a box of vintage fabrics to our Costume Shop.  The woman who made it had apparently died and her children brought us the box of fabrics.  It's all hand pieced with teeny 1/8" seams and the 4 Patch blocks seem to be made out of old clothing.  The clothing blocks appear to be 1940's prints, while the large blocks are a blue & white gingham print which looks to be early 1950's.

16. Jar Quilt with fabrics from alwaysinmyroom!

Whoa, that is a lot of wedding quilts Jennie!

I bought my batting today! I got 6 yards at half price, score! And I buy the kind that's 90 inches wide or so, that I can get two baby quilts out of the width. I should be able to make 8 quilts!

I bought the batting for mine to, and the last of the fabrics.  I have all the HSTs done, and some peiced together, I hope to get all the blocks done by February 1st.

I also plan to start the baby quilt since it's a project I can do while I watch T.V

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

Yay always!  Kiss

My quilt for kids just needs binding too! I bought some fabric to use for it yesterday. I did that wonky argyle quilting pattern on it that I shared a while back.

What's the Sequoia Indian pattern?

Here are some pretty process shots of the Costume Shop Quilt.  The inspiration was the Alexander Henry fabric Sew Now Sew Wow fabric that Pinkleo sent me as an extra in the Mini Art Quilt Swap (Rd. 3).  The quilt & blocks were designed by me, and sewn by myself, Ex_Gratia, and the rest of the costume shop employees.  Grace has done a majority of the quilting, and I'm hoping to do the rest this week.

Enjoy!
