I think I might finally have gathered enough fabrics for my yellow and gray quilt.  Only, I think it's going to be more yellow, black and white than just gray.  It will still make me happy so that's all that matters, right?!

I am in the process of dying some fabric right now for it, and since I have time to kill I think I might plan out my squares.  Yes, I'm one of those fools who don't have a pattern in mind before I plan a quilt...I just start with the colors and see how they want to play with each other.  I think it's going to be a mix of disappearing nine patch and log cabin blocks.  We'll see!!

Looking for Mccalls 6337 sewing pattern, if you have a copy you'd be willing to share/give/sell please let me know.  The bag costs $60 and I think perhaps I could make it cheaper/

Updated for progress.  Green is finished.  Orange for progress.

The quilts already posted are fabulous and I am already inspired by what you all are doing.  I think I need to jump in here.  As long as it is OK to count the quilts that are on my 50 projects list and the tops that are waiting to be finished.  I think I can get to 11.  Here's my list in no particular order.

1.  Broccokitty quilt.  Pieced this week.  ready for quilting and binding.

2.  Irish chain quilt using a honeybun.  Used scraps!

3.  Yellow Brick road pattern with car fabric.
Top is pieced and waiting to go to the quilter.
4.  Raw edge circle quilt.  (I need to get up the nerve to machine quilt this.)  Finished using the embroidery function on my machine.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=374856.0
5.  Butterfly convergence quilt (I need to get up the nerve to use my embroidery machine to quilt this.)
6.  Lake quilt.
7.  Stacked frogs quilt.
8.  Wool patches quilt.  (An inherited top made with men's wool clothing.  I need to piece the back, tie it and bind it, possibly with neckties.)  Will it count if I tie it instead of quilting it and more importantly since I am finishing rather than making it entirely?
9.  Flannel quilt for boy blacksmith.

adding
10  Umbrella quilt
11.  bunny quilt

12. MAQS for Faux_Valentine
13.  MAQS for Pinkleo

and some other quilty projects.
- Valentine heart throw
- Robot table runner

June Summary...  3 quilts and 2 projects finished.

Adding...

14.  Guest Book Quilt for niece's wedding
15.  Black, red and gray Irish chain for nephew
16.  Finish crazy bug quilt for nephew

17.  Globe quilt for Nephew

18.  Strange winter charity art quilt.

19.  Mug Rug swap quilt.

Probably not so much... Just a stacked coins using frog fabrics.  If I can ever decide on the sashing color it should go together easily.

can you see the difference? i cant see the difference...

these guys were offered as a raffle prize for the local community living organization. at the curling fundraising bonspeil. it  has usually been just a glass turkey draw (for a bottle of baileys) and the organizers told me they sold twice as many tickets for the raffle compared to other years...
