I love personal swaps, for supplies, surprises, flamingo themed things and general silliness.

Would love some hand knitted socks for my big foot boyfriend.

Little_G, you did a lovely job with your first quilt. The checkered back and the striped binding are very cute  Smiley now there's no stopping! Have fun!

I just have the 2 edge pieces on each quilt to cut and sew on, and then the 2 twin size quilt tops are completed!!!  I'll definately have the tops done by the weekend.

Progress.  I have my broccokitty ironed, sandwiched and basted!  I went to a quilt club on free motion today and got a lot of good advice for how to do the quilting so I am ready to go for it tomorrow... assuming, of course that I can settle on thread colors.   Undecided

Your broccokitty is so cute!  I love the colors and even though I am not a cat person, I think your quilt is great! Smiley

I have finally found all the pieces for my "first quilt" started back in 2005 and never finished.  I had no idea what I was doing (not that I know much more now), and selected some flannel backed satin for the backing.  I'm wondering whether I should tie the quilt instead of machine quilting?  I can only do straight line quilting with my machine, and am worried that the feed dogs would do strange things to the satin.
