I enjoy reading blogs. When Rhonda started her latest batch of ginger beer, I eagerly followed her process. Granted about a week behind. You can find her directions here.http://down---to---earth.blogspot.com/2009/10/live-traditional-food-making-ginger.html

It needs a little more time but one of my bottles was starting to build pressure, so I decided to sample it. It has a slight tingle of carbonation and bubbles collect on the sides of my glass. I imagine one more day would have been better. It is both sweet and spicy with a hint of alcohol flavor from the yeast that makes the carbonation. I look forward to sampling more in the next few days.
