I did this a few months ago but haven't had time to post lately. My cousin was having a baby so she asked me to paint the baby's room. The theme was "Under the Sea" (I posted a cake I did for her baby shower back around September.)

Here are a few before pics.

And beginning the mural...

And Skipping ahead to the finished product...

The shark is my favorite part. I tried to make him friendly looking so it didn't scare the little guy when he gets older. Smiley The whole thing took me about a week and a half to complete, which isn't too bad for my first ever room mural. Hope you all enjoyed it, thanks for allowing me to share!

Oh, this is beautiful!  The shark does look friendly (fish are friends, not food!), but I think my favorite part is the sunken ship. Cheesy

Really awesome transformation.  Do you have a pattern for this or was it pure imagination?  You're really artistic considering this was your first mural.  You made the underwater scene come to life.  Where's Nemo?  Grin

The ship is a great touch and so is the shark, but I think the jelly is adorable too

Thanks everyone! Grin

I didn't really have a pattern. The only thing I did was look up pictures of fish online and paint from that. Although, I did take the liberty to create some of my own fish here and there Smiley I did the same with the pirate ship, I looked up a cartoon pirate ship and painted from that.

Here's a couple of Nemos (Nemoes?) !
