i really thought armwarmers would look hot with my outfit today...
so i knit some!
inspired by the "last minute knitted gifts" projects [i think]
except i really didn't feel like cables or anything special.

it looks really bright there but it's a calmer rose color

knit on homemade wooden needles. plain garter stitch.

i'll share this funny occurence:
Rachel-"I really like that...weave"
Me-*runs fingers through hair* "thanks..i'm bald under this you know..."
HAHA. she didn't get it for a while.

So cool! I made armwarmers, but they're really dodgy compared to yours. What size needles did you use?

easy peasy guys! i used handmade needles, so i don't know the size....bigger than 12 but smaller than 16?
haha.
i cast on about 30 stitches [this is the length of the armwarmer]
and then knit garter stitch for as wide as i needed them to be [i forgot to count rows]
for the thumb hole, on any random row you yarn over then knit 2 together near the end or beginning of a row.
then i sewed it all up and voila!!

i'm so proud.
thanks for all the compliments!
