I'm looking for a yarn that looks like orangutan fur...it has to be coppery orange and fuzzy...the only one I could find so far is this


but...looking at the sample, its a little sparse. It's really difficult to find yarn like this haha

You can try brushing yarn, such as cotton, in the appropriate color to achieve the look. Just use one of the sharp-ish bristly pet brushes and go to town. I'm pretty sure this is the method Roman Sock uses. See photos here.

There are some brushed acrylic yarns, like Lion Brand Jiffy. You can brush them more for an extra effect. They're not quite as furry as the fun fur types.
