I am going to get my calipers out and set it for .05 inches.  That seems to be the dimension that is the trickiest.  I have had about 6 ideas about how to make the box, and now that we know partners, I know just which one I'm going to use. Grin  I should be finishing my Weird Stuffie swap...but I really want to work on this......

UPDATE: I worked on this LOL. Now my big question is....Does anyone know what is the most that has been stuffed into a matchbox for this swap?

I've finally found matchboxes! But they are SO tiny...  Undecided

I knew they weren't going to be big, but I wasn't ready for so small :p

Are they normal matchboxes then, or mini boxes? I only have minis (well ONE normal) so I'm opting for making a box myself Smiley Though I think I'm going to improve the template for drawer sturdiness - I don't have much confidence in glue Cheesy

Mini matchboxes? huh, how small are those? and how small are the matches? Wouldn't you burn your fingers is the matches are really short....
I've got matchboxes that are 1,5X3,5X5,3 cm, approx:0.6X1.4X2.1 in.
I thought that was the normal size, but then they say everything is bigger in america  Cheesy.

I haven't decided if I am going to use regular matchboxes or make my own yet.  I need to do a bit of stalking first.....

Looks like mni matchbox if you ask me... It holds about 40 matches, so I guess it's the normal size. The height is slightly smaller than the pattern though.

Mine's about hte same size, only slightly over 1cm high...
I don't know if everything is bigger in usa, but one thing is for sure, their ******* imperial system got me confused! :p

I was in the shower this morning and suddenly had a flash of inspiration.  I know *EXACTLY* what I'm going to do for my partner's matchbox!  Too bad I know nothing about the subject...  Thank goodness for the internet!  I would say that I hope she likes it, but after stalking her a bit, I'm quite positive she'll love it.  Smiley
