I have three or four things inside each box so far but I haven't started decorating as of yet.  I am going back and forth between this and the inchies swap.  Just been busy.  Today is my baby's 6th birthday (see my blog if you are curious) so I have been getting ready for his party that is this weekend.  Hopefully Sunday will give me some relaxing craft time.....

I finished my "second" matchbox but I'm still working on the first Cheesy For the first one I'm trying an idea that will be either awesome or a big fail... I'm hoping for awesome. But it's taking some time. Right now I'm waiting for something to cure before I can continue. >_> Hopefully it'll get finished tomorrow.

OK, so after finishing the matchbox for lukenlarry on Monday, I was stuck for ideas for the box for timpani-jax.
But then it hit me yesterday evening and today I spent the whole afternoon at my parents house, as I crafted with a medium i have not worked with in a while and I did not have the supplies. Oh, I did manage to squeeze in a last minute job interview and a trip to a craftstore too (not combined, unfortunately) Grin
Now lets hope my partners will like their stuff !

You've been busy. Sounds intriguing, I'm sure I'll love it. I've almost finished yours.

i'm finished with both of my matchboxes however- the box part is not exactly fitting into the second one...which is a pain because its all decorated and filled and now i will have to start over- i like decorating it before i fold it up so that you can cover every inch..but i guess i should have measured better- oh well- second try usually comes out better anyways. i will be sending soon!

I had to remake mine for the same reason.  As it is take two's draw is still slightly higher on one side then the other....but since I managed some how to do that on the out side part too, I can just say I did it on purpose......oops Grin

I tried a new technique on both of my matchboxes - they're still in progress, but I really like how they are turning out so far.

I am remaking my matchboxes.  Or maybe I'm going to go out today and search for some.  The template just didn't work for me.  Or maybe I'll get some matchboxes and try again before I decorate those.  Love the idea, they just fit together kinda... wonky.  :0(  I really liked the idea of the envelope style matchbox, too.
