For a visual reference, this is a 32-count matchbox - it is 2 in (5.5 cm) long.

Mini matchboxes? huh, how small are those? and how small are the matches? Wouldn't you burn your fingers is the matches are really short....
I've got matchboxes that are 1,5X3,5X5,3 cm, approx:0.6X1.4X2.1 in.
I thought that was the normal size, but then they say everything is bigger in america  Cheesy.

Lol the mini matchboxes have the same length matches, but only like ten of 'em, and they're thinner. They're about 0.5x2.5x5cm, usually from hotels and restaurants - common in the days before they got so cheap they only had match books... and then stopped having them at all. Wink
