I completed this sculpture back in August, and just found the pictures of it again while making room on my camera. I had a more elaborate base planned, but had to simplify it to meet an art show deadline. It wasn't selected anyway.
long story short, its named Phoenix because it emerged from the flames.
Questions, comments, and criticisms welcome.

fantastic! The hard work shows. The simplicity only makes it more beautiful, imo. I can't believe jurors overlooked this. Where is this piece now?
