I was feeling the itch to craft something, and I have been wanting to try making these for a bit now, so...I did. I just cut them whatever size looked good/whatever size my scraps were. I was also happy to figure out a way to hide the staple too. And to give credit where it is due, the watercolor paper on the right one was from Shadeweaver from a previous swap (Id been saving it to make something for me!).

Thanks for looking!

They turned out nice!  I was thinking after I saw these that this is the type of thing that would be perfect as a little something to put into a girl's purse.  You know how little girls like to have "stuff" to put in their purses, not that it isn't handy for us big girls to have too.   Smiley

Did you use card stock for the outside?  I'm gonna check for a tute for these.  I am new to papercrafts but with two daughters I am always making little purses for their friends bdays.  I'm gonna try to get a little back stock of these.   Grin

Yeah, just card stock for the outside. The strips were about 2.25" by 6.5" (one of the smaller mat stack papers cut in half lengthwise). Super easy to make, and lots of possibilities! I was think perfect for jotting down someones number or any other quick note on the go...and yes, good for little girls too!!

I really like the idea of patterned paper inside.  Cute.  Thanks for sharing--I think I may go experiment....I appreciate the inspiration!
