I have literally had the yarn for this in my stash for 5 years, and finally I started it 4 months ago and it is finished!

This is the every popular Rogue pattern, and I love it so!

The yarn is the excellent Bartlettyarns Fisherman 2-Ply in Garnet Heather. However I did have to go down to a size 6 needle to get somewhat close in gauge. As it worked out, I was still running a bit big so I knit the smallest size to end up with a final measurement of 38". This worked out perfectly as I wanted this fitted, but loose enough to wear layers under it comfortably.

I'm happy I got this down in time for the brief cold season here in Texas! Especially as I had a bit of a fiasco with the pocket (my own dumb fault) and ended up doing surgery (involving cutting) to get it all fixed.

My mods are (in addition to gauge issues)- didn't do the hem facing stitch, just decreased sts by 5%, increasing 2 rows before turning row. Added 4 extra repeats of center cable section of the body to lengthen it. I also used this handy chart to graft the hood together in pattern.

Lots more info and photos on my blog- all related posts are here.
