You're up to page four of "OMG it's awesome" comments and no-one has jumped on this line yet- so I must!

Other Half: OMG- That is soooo cool! But how do you eat it?
Me: Big Bang two?

You did an fantastic job, well done!

actually, I let my SO with his monstrosities he calls hands squeeze it. it made him feel like a macho man. :-) it all managed to fit inside my cookie jar and me and my SO and our 2 roommates munched on it for a good while. (the reason I took it apart so soon after I made it is because I needed part of my icing coupler that I used to rig the lights in the top. I had to make cookies the next day, and needed my coupler!)  Grin

actually, I had so much icing on it (I kept thinking, it needs more icing, it might fall apart!) that I couldn't even do any damage to it even with a hammer! That's why I let my SO help me out.
(and you wouldn't believe the strutting he did afterward. I should have recorded it, and posted it on here somehow. I laughed until my sides hurt!)

Thanks for all the great comments guys!
I'm already planning for it next year. I'll make it better next year.  Grin

I just did a doctor who birthday cake, and we were discussing how to make a Tardis.  This method came up.  Yours looks awesome.  I don't think I'd've done mine justice.  I'm with you on the icing thing, though.  I was paranoid with mine, too.
