Crocheting to relax

I saw the beautiful cherry blossom sleeve back...months ago! February I started this first for my laptop til I got a tablet and decided I wasn't too far that I could change to it.  The largest part is the sleeve of course, not the decoration.  My grandfather went to the ER and for nine hours, to keep myself calm, I crocheted...Just continually crocheted.  Thats why a good chunk of time was added to this, 9 hours of crocheting gave me carpol tunnel for a while.  My pointer feels better and I'm glad to have gotten to finish.  I developed it into one of my favorite things, something I really do "fangirl" over: Android.  I developed the Android girl with my other passion, graphic arts.  I took an original little Android guy and worked on it in paint and photoshop til he became a she with a bow, dress, and shoes.  Cheesy It was fun but then I came to the problem of a pattern.  I still am pretty new, having taught myself on youtube.  So after a while of trying to find crochet software (to no avail) I ended up going trial and error and I think it came out great today! Shes a cutie and I'm excited to show her off! Also, the tablet is a Moto Xoom, an Android tablet of course Wink

What a constructive way to deal with your anxiety. I hope your grandfather is OK now.
