Here's my Christmas present for a Danish friend (and my first ever posting of a finished project Smiley ).

They're 4 small felt owls to hang up as decoration. Hand stitched and filled with a bit of polyester filling. I first cut all the parts out of felt, then sewed on the belly, wings and the brown of the eyes. Only the beek and black eyes were glued on using textile glue.

She really liked them and has asked for more in another colour combination. I haven't done a whole lot of crafting yet and this is the first project I actually dared give to somebody. I'm happy she liked them. It took a bit of time to make but it was so enjoyable. I am also learning to sew using a machine but there is something so serene about hand stitching that I know I'll be making more projects this way.

Regards,

Sonja

These are adorable!  They look just like something you'd find in a vintage shop.  You did a terrific job!
