Bear with me- this is only my second challenge!
My daughter (sewin2disney) perfectly summed up our Gingerbread House Tradition (see her entry- the Tiki Hut).  I started making Gingerbread Houses in 1984, when sewin2disney was just 2 years old- since then, we've made 25 houses- each one different and unique!

Here's this year's house-

This year we did a family-favorite-- the cottage with a bow window and lights inside!

Front/Side

Side

The other side

More front:

The back- with our tradition of putting the year and my daughters names on it:

And the bonfire on the side of the house that my youngest daughter insisted we have...  Cheesy

Thank you for looking!  Good luck to everyone in the contest!

This is so cute!  It's such a classic style, but the details and the bow window make it super special.  Good job!

Adorable! I love the little icicles.

Is your daughter's name Dana or Dara? My step-daughter's name is Dara and I don't see that name too often.

Oh, it is just darling! I love it!
How did you make the evergreen tree?
The bright lights strung on the roof eaves are perfect.

Are those twisted tootsie rolls for the bonfire? Ingenious!
