I love the colours you chose for both pillows,
and BATMAN! Awesome!!!!

I'd love to try something like this for my boyfriend and his kids, how beginner-quilter friendly is it? Smiley

Thanks so much!

To answer the how beginner quilt friendly question - that's a 2 part answer. The actually piecing of the quilt is super easy because you can't go wrong - there's no rhyme or reason to it, so that's very easy. And because it is such a small segment, it's the perfect project to try your hand and free motion quilting. You don't have to worry about trying to work with big bulky blanket size pieces in the machine. The part that was the trickiest is zig-zagging around the applique letters. All those curves and twists and turns take patience.

Those are adorable!  As someone with an unfindable name on personalized things, I would love to have a pillow with my name on it.  The fabrics are cute too. I really like the superhero ones.
