So, I purchased a skein of yarn from the lovely www.mypapercrane.com but didn't' have enough to make a lengthy scarf, so - I decided to teach myself how to spin!
The scarf is insanely long and knit in just a simple garter stitch with 17 needles.

I spun the yarn in about 15 yard sections, because I was toooo excited to knit it up and couldn't wait for the entire bag of fiber to be spun to begin! (this is just a bad scan of the yarn)

This is a photo of the scarf in progress

A photo of me wearing the scarf (such an awkward photo) I think it's wrapped around my neck two or three times

And lastly, the scarf wrapped around my head! (you can see the details of the yarn a bit better)

That is a gorgeous scarf! I will definitely check out that yarn, as well.

How long did the scarf end up being?
