Hey guys!
I moved to CT about two months ago, and I don't have internet, so I have a backlog of photos of my henna tattoos.  Right now, I only have three to share with you, but more will definitely be coming  Wink

First one is a design that I made up on my own.  The pattern is one I've learned from various sources (flower, then paisley shape, flower, paisley shape, etc.), but the design is all me.

The second, I'm not sure if I posted this one before.  I'm pretty sure I did, but I can't find the thread anywhere  Huh
If anyone finds it, just let me know, and I'll delete this one out of the post.  lol

And for this final one, it's a design done on my cousin Stephanie.  She told me what she wanted done (basically, shooting stars in the shape of an "S"), I sketched out a design for her, and then did it in henna.
She wants to get a real tattoo of this someday (not the exact henna design though--more tattoo style, of course Wink), so having this henna drawn on her gave her a good idea of how much she would like it (and yes, she knows it's going to hurt like hell on her ribs! lol)

If you're wondering why I take so many pictures with the paste still on and none with it off, it's because I usually forget to  >___O
In the case of the henna on my cousin, I didn't see her again until after the stain had worn off.

These are really beautiful! And I'm sure that the last one will look great as a tatoo, too. Smiley

They are all so pretty. ^_^ You must have such a steady hand to do such meticulous artwork like that.

Thanks!!
Ironically, I actually have a pretty shaky hand.  If it's not resting on something, I can't make a straight line to save my life, lol.  :3

Thanks!  Mine too  :3
Unfortunately I just recently got a job at which I have to look "professional", so I can't do it on my hand anymore.  :/   But I can still do it on other peoples' hands, haha

These are really great henna tattoos.  I especially love the one that is the stars on the side of the body...a very unique place to put a henna tattoo....seeing as they are usually put on the hands.  Great work!   Huh

Thanks! Cheesy
Yeah, you can do henna on whatever part of the body you want, really...although certain places stain better than others (the hands and feet stain the best, which is why they're usually the places chosen for the design).  :3

These are so pretty! Do you mix your own henna paste from powder or do you use pre-made paste?

Beautiful! I love henna. I wish I knew someone who did henna so I could get them to "draw" on me.
