This is my very first food-related post but this cake was hand's down the best dessert I've made this year. Unbelievable moist and buttery. Perfect balance of sweet and tart. Incredible.

This cake is definitely worth making. I hope you like butter, because this small, square cake uses a full 1/2 pound of it. Yum!

It looks so delicious and juicy and sweet and amazing.. Too bad I'm on diet >.< Such a temptation...

I know, right? The more butter the better, up to a point. Smiley

I'd say this cake is suitable for any gathering of 10 people or less, although that means smallish pieces. So...if you feel like eating a generous portion, maybe serve it for just a few friends! Hope you make and enjoy it!
