I bet you could do eyelashes with it!!! They would be like snuffalupagus's lashes where they are thick and wavy! I can't wait to see your girl! You are gonna post it in the Poppet-a-Long so everyone can see? She is blue? Thats awesome!!!

Okay, I've just been reading EVERYTHING I could get my hands on about Poppets for the last week and I've decided that come Hell or High water (lol...scary since I'm on the beach) that I need to make one. I NEED to!! It calls to me, this vision of a blue doll with rain-like hair... *looks into my imaginative future* I'm a bit scared since my sewing machine and I have a Hate-hate relationship T-T But I'm determined. The eye lid thing admittedly, scares me but all good things with time no? So CHEERS to you all for inspiring me and send me prayers of Crafty hope that my first doll comes out...well, like a doll.

I hand-stitched my first one so don't be afraid to ditch your sewing machine.... I got brave and sewed the three after that so whatever makes you more comfortable.  I also left off the eyelids on Calypso, my last one so don't be held back by eyelids! Smiley

I just hand stitched my first punkin recently with some "new suede" material stuff.  Cheesy  He's all uneven and my buttons were too big for the arms so the shoulder joints are a little.... pinched. But I find more satisfaction making something by hand these days. Probably because I cuss at my machine more than I actually sew with it =\
