Everyone's projects are looking nice!!

I have finished the last smaller page. Now I just have the 2 larger pages to finish. They will take a bit longer because of the details. I'm slowly getting tired of this project and want it done now!

It is very encouraging to see all of your pictures - and more importantly support of each other - as you work on big projects!  I haven't participated in any previous stitch-alongs because I am new to Craftster, but I just started my first big cross stitch project.

Thomas Kinkade's "Peter Pan and Tinkerbell Fly to Neverland" kit:

(sorry, best pic I could find)

My mom's favorite Disney movie is Peter Pan which she saw in theatres when she was a little girl with her brother (who passed away when she was a teenager).  When Disney re-released the movie to theatres in the 90s she took me!

Any advice for a first time big-project?  Huh

My advice--
Get highlighters-- and use them to mark your stitches!!
I would also stitch page by page. It will feel like finishing a smaller project.

Just take your time and enjoy stitching you project!!

Very much this. I used varying coloured pencils, so I can tell which area is what colour. But I also work a page colour by colour, so your mileage may vary.

Hello, all! I'm loving seeing everybody's progress.

So, I went on a big hiatus, but am back now. Unfortunately, I am also camera-deprived...so I won't be able to post pictures as regularly as I would like. But I will definitely update when I am able. Smiley

I'm working on a massive Super Mario Galaxy project for my boyfriend and would love to get it finished this year...though I am seriously doubting that will happen.

Here's what I'm making!

The pattern is 20 pages and I just finished the first page (lower-right corner; it was the smallest, so I felt accomplished quickly!) tonight and started working on the second page.

I will update with WIP pics soon, I hope!

*jaw drop*

Seriously, and I thought I had an impressive piece of art Tongue.

Sweetdeeds, wow, just wow. I would love to see a close-up of that embroidery work, because the colours look so difuse now. Am I the only one who sees a bit of Van Gogh in there?

And Leannerd, yikes! That's an awful lot of colour. Are you stitching on black fabric?

That's huge and there are so many color changes! Would love to see it finish.

You could simplify some things, like the logo, to make them pop out a little bit more, but I wouldn't look as realistic (as realistic as mario can get Tongue),
