The only thing I can do while I'm stitching is listen to music.
I fear if I watch TV I will make mistakes-- I hate frogging!!

I figured, after so long, that I should share as well. I must confess though, that there is something more important that I have to finish, but since this one is going so well, I figured I should finish this first. I had this kit for close to 5 years now... *big blush* Yeah, I know... I bought it, thinking it would keep me going, but it stayed in the cupboard for a very long time. More than a year ago, I picked it back, and I haven't put it down since. Heck, I even bought a cool organiser bag!

This is my work so far, after finishing six pages...

And two close-ups, because I really like those pieces (not when I was stitching though)

And it should become this! Hopefully this year!

I bought it here: http://www.sewandso.co.uk/Products/Cut-Thru-Fairy-Hill__BOT-XCT3.aspx

Ooh I want to join! I've been working on this geisha cross stitch (Gold Collections petites "Mai") since last spring/summer. It went on my Mexican cruise with me last year Grin I'll have to find it and take some pictures, but I'm not very far along, I definitely need to get it back out.

I love making cross-stitch patterns out of pixel art. And I adore Harley Quinn. So...I got it in my fool head to combine the two, in a sizable way. I found a great piece of art here

After running it through PCStitch, I got this:

Because I am utterly insane, she's being stitched 1 over 1 on 25 count black Lugana. Was a study in eyestrain at first, but I've gotten used to it and learned the fabric. Gotten quite easy to work on. And the teeny squares work really well for altered pixel pieces!

I started her on Boxing Day, and am getting her done a lot faster than expected. Unemployment and audiobooks yay!
Progress thus far:

I think I might need some more big projects soon.

(I originally made a pattern for this piece in '09 -See here- on 18 count white aida, but the piece and pattern got lost in a move so I had to start over. I only had her face done anyway, and this one's turning out better!)

Ahhh, Lilibet, that is so cute!

The whole Cut Thru series is worth its money. I love it to pieces, because there is so much colour, it's pleasant to stitch (no fractionals) and I keep discovering this little details.
