ok, so, i was browsing around last night, and stumbled upon this gem :

suuuuper cute! there were a couple ideas in that post as to how to create the piece...so i just sort of took those and ran with it.  or rather, sat and watched netflix with it.  whatever.  ta da!

i'm really proud since it's the first thing i've made with no pattern whatsoever, just totally experimenting and ripping out, and having another go. next time i'll pull inspiration from this smart crafter: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=311841.0  and add buttons, cuz boy it's a pain to get on and off while kepin your hair cute.
it's made from two strands sparkle-aire white, and the pink is a mix of one strand vanna's choice in a variegated pink, and one strand of some bulky weight bright pink.  i messed up the braids by forgetting the strands needed to be doubled  Roll Eyes so i might re-do them.  though i'm happy with it...i'm not sure i'm confident about wearing it.  is it too silly?  c& c welcome!!

No! I love it! Wish I could make one for myself. I'm not so good at Crochet still. I had to rip out and start all over a scarf that was suppose to be a x-mas gift   Embarrassed

I am up for private swap for Teesha Moore patches!! PM me if  you are interested! :-D

thank you so much!  scarves...are pretty much my kryptonite.  i despise them and always have to re-do then several times before i get the rhythm down.  crocheting in a circle is actually a heck of a lot easier to me, since you just  go until you hit your marker Smiley I made a hat a day this season for presents...and the one scarf i made took well over two weeks. so don't give up!! I'd recommend trying a hat or something round (perhaps a circle scarf?) Smiley
