I have lots of fabric scraps and I need small projects to use them. I thought wallets could be great, and I made three for Yule gifts. The red corduroy one was the first and I gave it to my mother. The others were for my sisters and since I had already practiced wallet making, I added some applique and machine embroidery on them.

Snap closure on the other side. The black fabric has gray roses on it, but you can't quite see them on the photo.

Opened wallets. Each of them have zippered pocket for coins and 6 slots for cards.

Your wallets are great!
It doesn't show at all that they are the first ones you made.
Although I like the embroideries on the other ones, the red one is my favorite too.
Happy New Year!

Wow, what cool wallets! I love the owl one, and the stitching on the skeleton one is great!

Those are really great! did you just invent them or did you use a pattern? if you used a pattern i'd love to know which one.

I didn't use a pattern, but I used my own wallet as a guideline. The zippers are in different place on each wallet, because I was testing what's the best place for it.

These were simple to make, I think I could make a tutorial.
