my grandma gave me this years ago, still works as new but wanted it to match my red kitchen,,,i got the idea from here

http://curbly.com/diy-maven/posts/9405-kitchenaid-stand-mixer-gets-a-makeover

,,i spray painted mine also (not with kind she used but regular $2.97 at walmart)and put electrical tape with the check cut outs to use as a stencil,,heres before

and after

i am pleased with it and now it sits on the counter instead of under the cabinet!

Very pretty! That is a vibrant shade of red. What kind of paint did you use?

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

thanks! i used Krylon Indoor/Outdoor, Gloss, Cherry Red,,,,,,seems to be doing good though, i have hit it a few times with the bowls and the paint is still on lol, i was suprised that the squares turned out pretty straight, i did scrape a little bit that went under the tape,, thanks again!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.
