lovely goodies!

I'm a bit down, my package, sent the 15th december, hasn't yet arrived to sweetie, and we're already in february!! Sad
Has anyone else sent something from Europe and has problems with the US post that are doing so many controls? They just tell me to wait but it's just TOO long... Sad

Yes, definitely! I was in a Secret Santa type book swap, and Book Depository in the UK mailed the books on Dec 14th for delivery before Christmas .... and most folks didn't get them until this past week.  The US Customs has really clamped down, all the shipping companies in Europe are experiencing massive delays.  My friend who works for UPS said it's just been insane, a lot of packages went by boat instead of by air, in an attempt to bypass a lot of the customs inspections (for bombs etc), which just added to the delays! And currently mailed things are getting processed before the things that are backed up from December! It's just so messed up.

And then the multiple snowstorms on the US East Coast and Midwest haven't helped any either!

Now I fear some problems because I put inside a broochie something.... hope they don't go crazy over it XD
And I really hope it arrives, soon soon soon...

The US Postal controls - would they be as strict on packages leaving the US too? I'm waiting on 2 parcels that have been sent quite a while ago - mine were sent to my partners either the same time or just before they sent to me, they've received but I haven't.

I'm not sure.. I sent my package to luna and she got it 6 days later... I think its just incoming packages to the US.

No matter, mine arrived today - both of them! I was right in regards to one parcel though, Quarentine had comandeered it but it passed lol.
Anyway I received today so here are the excellent things I got from Craftsunderground
Lovely blue scarf:

Lovely cream cowl:

Excuse the dazed look and funny skin colour in the below picture - I took a sleeping tablet last night and it hasn't quite worn off, and my camera always seems to make my face look like I've just been badly sunburnt but I thought the scarves deserved at least one action shot hehe

It is indeed. You reminded me of an ad we have here about fabric softener and the little kid in it is like "Thanks for making my clothes so warm and cugly-cudgly-cuggly-cugldly" lol
