Hi everyone!First of all sorry for my english xD
I recieved today from sweetie28303!! She's done so many beautiful goodies that I'm wearing right now, and the package arrived in perfect time since it's getting really cold here...
I'll post some photos now... I'm sorry I didn't had time to make beautiful artistic shots, also I have my sleeping face on xD But I hope you can see how perfect she did everything!
So here's the ensemble, grey slouchy hat, fingerless sleeves coordinated to a lovely scoodie!!

The sleeves...  I had my mother to model for me, since photographing myself with boths was a biiit complicated xD

The slouchy hat...

...and the scoodie!!

Sweetie thanks soooo much!!! It was a perfect first swap and I enjoyed it so much! I just hope my package arrives soon this week and that you like everything!! <33

I'm so glad you like everything, frosty! I was hoping I picked a good color for you. Since the hat and scarf are pretty plain, I figured you could change it up by putting the different roses on. I'd love to see action pics if you take any. Sorry I didn't get action pics of my scarf. I tried, but couldn't take a decent one that showed the scarf very well.  Smiley

I LOVE that grey slouchy hat!

I got my scarf today from thelastkodama, yay!

It's a wonderful blue quilted scarf. It has fleece on the back, so it's warm (that's a good thing, because we're in a cold wave here, it was -28 degrees celcius yesterday! Embarrassed)

I love the scarf, it's really cosy and it's beautifully done! My mother was really impressed and I am too!

Here's the scarf!

Here's the other side, she didn't use the same fabric twice except for the lace (and even for the lace, the background colour is different)

Action shot! Don't look at me, I worked all day, look at the scarf!

And a detail of the lace, it is so pretty!

Thanks a lot thelastkodama, I love it!!!  Cheesy

So many pretty new scarf pictures.  I wish mine would get where it's going - feels like I mailed a million years ago.  Smiley

The fiber scarf was not hard at all.  Just roll out the water soluble facing, lay down what ever fibers or fabric strips that you want to use.  Roll out another piece of water soluble stabilizer on top and PIN THE hell out of it.  Make sure you pin it ALOT!!! Use a thread that is similar in color to your fibers or use a clear thread.  Sew in a criss cross pattern (kind of a ladder pattern) to make sure you get ALL of the fibers stitched.  then you can remove the pins.  I dropped my "feed dogs" on my machine, installed my free motion foot and just started sewing all crazy ways.  Once you have it all sewn, take it to your kitchen sink and rinse.  the water soluble stabilizer dissolves as you rinse.  It's kinda gooey at first but then it starts to just dissolve.  once it's all rinsed, hang to dry or in my case, I threw it in the dryer so it'd be fluffy.  I'm going to try another one as soon as I get more stabilizer.  It was fun.  but it was a little bulky sewing.  I think that was because of the cashmere sweater cut up that I used.  Next time, I'll make the strips skinnier.

hope that explains it ok......
