I just got my awesome package from morrigan_le_faye!

First of all, the sweets: almond brittle (the package ripped open in transit, but all candy is accounted for - except for the bit I ate!), chocolates on wooden spoons (I think they're spoons at least. I have yet to eat a chocolate to see what's underneath), and a bar of Swiss chocolate (since my partner is from Switzerland!).

Next, the oily goodness. Tomato pesto (mm, smells so good) and pizza oil, along with the recipe for the tomato pesto. Neat packaging too! Love the wax seals.

And finally, a nice big apron.

Thanks morrigan_le_faye, it's an awesome package!

I'm glad you like everything, psyche! Cheesy
I was a bit worried about the oily stuff, but luckily it didn't spill! Roll Eyes I see that the apron is big enough.. Undecided Maybe you want to wash it really hot so it will shrink..?
The spoons are meant to make hot chocolate. You just heat some milk, put in a spoon wait and stir a little bit and enjoy.

Oh really cool! I'm glad you told me, because I would have probably put them IN hot chocolate and then it would be too chocolatey. And I actually don't mind the large size of the apron. I do tend to get pretty messy while cooking. Haha.

What's in the pizza oil? I'm curious!

I love big place mats as I have big plates Smiley but tell your DH that potholder is his and you can use your aprons still ROTFL..it glow in the dark..Love that fabric too LOL...I hope the orange is a great fit for you as it is not Traffic cone like you said Smiley
The candle is from my neighbor that is his company and I love that smell Yummo but again I hope you enjoy it all I think it looks great and will give you many years of enjoyment to come. You are an amazing partner and I had a lot of fun making it all for you..I have one more of the things to sew me a bag so we will shop like twins Smiley Hugs!

The backs of the place mats can be turned over so you can have solid with the border too. I have never made my own binding so I finally did for you so I am now hooked and will save tons of money Smiley The back fabric and the napkins I made were from a table cloth I had for my old table that I don't have now Sad Boo I miss my table....

I received today!  Cheesy Thank you, psyche! I love all the retro goodies you made me! Pics will come tomorrow, I need better light..

What's in the pizza oil? I'm curious!

I have the recipe on my blog:
http://fraeulein-anders.blogspot.com/2011/02/make-your-own-pizza-oil.html
Olive oil extra vergine
1-3 whole chilis
1 teaspoon ground chili
1 teaspoon whole black pepper
One or two garlic cloves, chopped or sliced
One twig of rosemary
One twig of thyme
Two bay leaves

It's pretty simple and fun to make. Do you like it?

Haven't tried it yet (sadly, I've only done the most basic cooking this week). But I can say the same as tomato pesto (which I will eat this week on some sort of nice thin noodles) - it smells good! Also, I'm now following your blog Cheesy
