Hi Guys,

I received a week or so ago, but due to being in hospital I didn't get open the package until I got home and then I was a bit drugy to upload any photos.

I got a beautifully made apron (double thick and lined), 14 little foodie magnets for the fridge, a little chef pan and some of my partners favorite recipes.

Thank you P.Kok so much for such a lovely package. And I am very sorry that I wasn't able to upload any photos sooner.

It's here it's here it's here!

My original package from Javede was eaten by the international postal service, which is a terrible shame - especially since, judging by the replacement package, it was *awesome*

Without further ado:

Everything was beautifully wrapped, but I didn't think to get a photo of that before I dismantled it all.  Derp!

The whole package:

Two cute mug rugs, featuring a pink vintage fabric:

Three beautiful big kitchen towels, with the same fabric highlight:

And two trivets/pot holders, with hanging loops:

I love it all so much!

I am so glad you like the package so much! This makes it easier to post the photo of the lost package. The only thing I redid where the potholders. The towels and mug rugs were on my list to make for you before, but because one item of the lost package took so long I did not make them then. I am especially sad the package was lost for this embroidery, since it was the first time I did some more complicated stitches than just back or split stitch  Sad Unfortunately I only snapped this photo of it before sending.

Oh, I really like those tea towels with vintage fabric! Maybe I'll do something like that for my new kitchen (moving next weekend!).

And so sad that the embroidery got lost. I always hope that someone somewhere is enjoying it (even if they DID steal it Wink.)

Guess what's turned up???

Yes, it's Javede's original swap package, looking a bit battered and with no clues as to where it's been for the last few months.

Here we go:

Lovely embroidery, in pride of place in my kitchen:

Potholders:

(please excuse the odd shadow that makes it look like it's got a grubby mark on it already!)

Recipe folder:

There's lots of room in here to add my own recipes, plus some already written in to get started.  Mmmm....

Thank you thank you thank you!  A 'thank you' package will be in the mail in the next week or so...

Cool stuff! Amazing nothing was destroyed after months in no-man's-land.
