OMG this is amazing! A friend of mine just started dating a guy right before the holidays and for christmas he wrote her a poem (and gave her socks, some kind of inside joke supposedly) and all I kept thinking is how awkward getting a poem would be!!  This is so perfect!!

I absolutely love this! I laughed so hard. I am one of those subjected to bad poetry. I can't say anything since I am related to her. She even told me when she dies I will inherit her poetry and she wants me to publish it. More like burn it! Thank you for making my whole New Year's, lol.

My friend and I had to suffer through a flatmate who not only wrote sh*t poetry, but was a terrible painter and actor as well - and felt sure that he was going to be writing the next Great New Zealand novel - but in the style of Hunter S. Thompson, probably  (which wouldn't have worked out well, believe me!).  But his ego was capable of surviving great things - possibly until he finally delivers a manuscript to an actual editor that is     I am so showing her this, thanks for sharing!  Your work is so perfectly executed!  Gorgeous!
