Hello all.  I made this pillow for my partner in the Secret Santa Swap.
I took the part of the poem "'Twas the Night Before Christmas"
Quote
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night."
The words are embroidered, the figure is applique.
It took me awhile to finish, just because I had to work on it in little bits when I had time between working on homework.  The hardest part was definately sewing down the reindeer's little antlers and legs.

The front:

The back:

(I didn't do the patchwork, I bought the fabric like that  Wink)

Some close-ups:

I'm really proud of how it turned out, and it was really hard sending it off to its new home.   Cheesy

That is really beautiful. I like the color variance in the words and the silhouette - nice job! Smiley

Wow!  I cannot get the hang of embroidery and words together so I'm impressed! Super cute!

thanks!
embroidering words can be hard.  that's why i always end up doing my own stitch thing.  my mom tells me i'm doing it backwards, but when i try doing it the right way, it comes out horrible.  so i just do what works.   Cheesy
