i made these a while ago but never got around to posting.....i have since also created an entire bag from tabs but haven't got pictures yet. they are simple and easy to make and of course environmentally friendly happy green crafting!!!

This is AWESOME! Could you maybe do a tutorial or post a link to a tutorial on how to make these? I have collected the energy drink color pop tabs that my mom (she drinks an energy drink every morning before work. it's bad for her but I keep the tabs) and friends drink for about two years because I've wanted to make these bracelets but I've never gotten around to figuring out how. It would be awesome if you could post a tutorial or something.

I got a bit excited about finally having a use for my colored tabs and I messed around and figured it out myself. Thank you for giving me the idea though. Here are the three I've made so far:

i usually just google popcan tab recycle and its the same pattern as the belt ... sooo easy!! and u can custom it up abit by using different cords, elastics, ribbons or even use nail polish to paint the tabs before you start (thats how i got the purple black one). ohhh and i will post images of my purse today!!

Do these not have sharp edges?  That's the one concern that's kept me from crafting with these.  I don't want someone to slit a wrist on a pop-tab bracelet!

most of the time if you are careful when removing the tabs from cans you can avoid rough edges....if you get a tab with a sharp edge just use a nail file or some sand paper (i don't know what kind i stole a square from my bfs tool box) and just sand it away....works great and fixes any roughness enjoy!
