I printed the pattern from burdastyle.com-it's the Janina pants. They are REALLY wide. I love wide legged pants, and these are almost too much for me. Next time, I'll take off a few inches. I lowered the waistband by 3 inches (I don't like pants at my actual waist), and adjusted the waist accordingly. I didn't get the pockets quite in the right spot either so they bulge a bit at the sides. I am not a fan of the fabric I chose-it's a type of corduroy but it has more stretch in it than I realized and they sag as you wear them. I will probably add belt loops so I can still wear these. I added patch pockets on the back instead of flaps with buttonholes/buttons.

It was a very simple pattern, but there aren't many directions, so if you're a novice, you'll have to move slowly. All in all, I love the pattern and would make it again. It was well worth the $3.
