wanna hear a sad fact. canada post is so slow and sucks so bad that i can wait until friday and drive across the border an ship priority and get it to my partner faster than if i shipped it from canada yesterday express post (our equivalent of priority)! so with my couple extra days i will not waste . . . off to spoil my partner now!

i live in saskatchewan, NOTHING stops for weather here. it snowed so much one night last month drifts 4 feet high formed. the bus obviously couldnt drive threw them but he waited for the kids to walk to the road where it was clear. but having said that i can honestly say i would never want to live anywhere else

LEASHHHH!

Whee. I recieved today. Have not opened (and will PM you next just to be sure you know it made it!). I don't know if I can wait to open mine, either.  I know I said I would, but.... Roll Eyes

Tennessee gets the schools closed for snow days (yesterday was early day, and I think all day today. They can't get the busses up the back side of the mountain safely in my county. This has been a brutal winter for us, too. I don't even think they have snow chains for our bus tires. It usually isn't this bad, but we had a "mini-storm" last night where I live, and worse on the back side of the mountain. (shady for morning, noon, and night with the tree cover...ice and black ice roads...) I think I am going to open my gift. leashhh said she could post pics. And I hope she likes her special pressies, and posts pics of those, as well.

(I get a digital camera soon, when I learn which one I want. Any members with info for me would be appreciated... I need one good for up close shots, but not too expensive nor too many extras, I don't think?)

This has been a fun swap! And I haven't even opened, yet!

Thanks, kayrun for your organizational skills!  Kiss
