oooh cozy quilt!

I destashed 1/2 a garbage bag of scraps to my sister, and she's going to share the ones she doesn't want with my cousins wife.  I kept some, but I have more room now!  I showed my sis all your string quilts, and she loved that pattern.  And the disappearing nine patch.  She wants to try those two.  She inherited a sewing machine, so she's going to see if it works and start quilting Cheesy

I've just recently cleaned out more fabric/sewing supplies for giving, gotta pack up a box for the Boycott the Craft Store swap, and I'm going to have a whole lot left over for sure...I really want to reclaim the large space it's taking up in my closet, so I don't know if I can hang onto it for the next givers/needers round or not Undecided  It may end up getting personal swapped away or put in my STS.

So I have woven three scarfs now but the first two were not made from yarn from my stash but newly purchased yarn. The third was was made from yarn I've had for awhile so I can share it here, wee!

I actually have stash yarn picked out! But I'm going to a fiber fest on Saturday. Chances of buying new yarn is quite high XD  My loom is hungry and it's only right for me to feed it properly right? Fiber is good for you!

Glad to see that you guys are all busy at least! My machines both still need to go in for repair but that hasn't stopped me from picking up some supplies from the thrift store recently, lol. I'm planning a couple sock creatures for a friend who is visiting us with her 2 kids and just grabbed a big ole bag of fun doodads to work with. It's going to be "fun" (erm) doing it all by hand but oh well, maybe I can get them to all "help" LOL.
We're in the country with no internet right now but I'll be back soon! (I traded the internet for horses and chickens! We're babysitting a farm for a while, awesome!).
